How long does it take to process a Personal Shopper order?

Forwardme aims to complete your Personal Shopper request within 12 to 24 hours under normal conditions. Then it’s on to shipping your items.

When you place a Personal Shopper request, Forwardme typically processes (reviews, places orders with retailers) your order within 12 to 24 hours, provided there are no issues. Once processing is complete, the items will be shipped from the retailer to Forwardme’s warehouse for further handling.

What “processing” includes

During this 12–24 hour window, Forwardme’s team will:

  • Verify your item links, prices, and availability
  • Ensure the items comply with policies and restrictions
  • Place the purchase order with the retailer
  • Monitor confirmation of the order

If everything goes smoothly, your order will move into the shipping and warehouse stage immediately after.

What happens after processing

Once your items are purchased:

  • Your goods are shipped to Forwardme’s U.S. warehouse.
  • You’ll get notifications when items arrive and are ready for consolidation or forwarding.
  • You’ll then choose your shipping method, confirm duties/fees, and pay for the international leg of the journey.

If there are any delays—stock issues, payment problems, or retailer constraints—Forwardme will notify you accordingly.
