How photo request works?

You can ask Forwardme to take photos of your parcel’s contents or external packaging before it ships. Submit a photo request through your dashboard to get peace of mind.

What is a Photo Request?

A photo request allows you to ask Forwardme to take pictures of a package — either of the outside packaging, contents, or both — so you can verify what’s inside or see how it was packed before it is forwarded.

This is useful for:

  • Checking the actual items received vs. what you ordered
  • Verifying condition before they ship
  • Helping with claims, especially for fragile or valuable items

How Photo Request Works (Step-by-Step)

  1. Log in to your Forwardme account
    Navigate to your dashboard so you can manage your parcels.
  2. Go to your Inbox / package listing
    Locate the package for which you want photos.
  3. Submit a “Photo Request”
    There should be an option or button labeled “Photo Request”. Click it.
  4. Specify what you want photographed
    You may be able to choose whether you want photos of the exterior packaging, interior contents, or both. It’s good to provide notes (e.g. “please show item model number label”).
  5. Wait for the photos to be taken & uploaded
    Forwardme’s warehouse team will take the requested photos and attach them to your account, often in the package detail page or via notification.
  6. Review the photos
    After photos are available, you can check them and decide whether to proceed with forwarding, request repacking, or even cancel if something is wrong.
