Why has my tracking not yet been updated?

There are several reasons tracking may not show new updates yet. Read what to expect and how to check in.

Why might tracking not have been updated yet?

If your Forwardme shipment shows no recent tracking update, it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a problem. Here are common reasons:

  1. Carrier delay in scanning
    The carrier may not have scanned the package at a checkpoint yet, so the tracking info hasn’t been refreshed.
  2. In transit between hubs / layovers
    The package might be en route between sorting centers, and no scan occurs until it reaches the next point.
  3. System sync delay
    The tracking update might be delayed in the system—carrier’s system and Forwardme’s system may take some time to sync.
  4. Incorrect or missing scan records
    In some rare cases, the carrier might skip scanning a package at a checkpoint, which causes no new tracking data to appear.

What should you do?

  • Wait 24 to 48 hours — many updates appear after the next scan or transit step.
  • Check with the carrier to see if there is more recent info on their site.
  • If after 3 days your tracking still hasn’t updated, contact Forwardme Support with your shipment ID or tracking number so we can investigate.
