Why might tracking not have been updated yet?
If your Forwardme shipment shows no recent tracking update, it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a problem. Here are common reasons:
- Carrier delay in scanning
The carrier may not have scanned the package at a checkpoint yet, so the tracking info hasn’t been refreshed. - In transit between hubs / layovers
The package might be en route between sorting centers, and no scan occurs until it reaches the next point. - System sync delay
The tracking update might be delayed in the system—carrier’s system and Forwardme’s system may take some time to sync. - Incorrect or missing scan records
In some rare cases, the carrier might skip scanning a package at a checkpoint, which causes no new tracking data to appear.
What should you do?
- Wait 24 to 48 hours — many updates appear after the next scan or transit step.
- Check with the carrier to see if there is more recent info on their site.
- If after 3 days your tracking still hasn’t updated, contact Forwardme Support with your shipment ID or tracking number so we can investigate.
